Nurse Educator

Location Sterling, VA

Occam  Health is seeking a Nurse Educator for completing activity of the hub program to which the employee is assigned. Includes providing education sessions or answering caller questions related to product assigned and using manufacturer approved call scripts. May include interaction with senior level client contacts. May also include handling of escalated issues.

 

JOB SUMMARY:Completing activity of the hub program to which the employee is assigned. Includes providing education sessions or answering caller questions related to product assigned and using manufacturer approved call scripts. May include interaction with senior level client contacts. May also include handling of escalated issues.
JOB DUTIES:Assist callers/clients with moderate to complex product education inquiries. May include acting as regional contact for senior level client contacts. Manage patient training cases and interact with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturer sales teams. Review and resolve product/device questions Identify and assess patient/caregiver need for additional training Document all activities in program database within required timelines. Prepare and/or assist with preparation of reports, as requested and including adverse event and product complaint reports. Review and process documentation to determine patient specific eligibility for training, as appropriate. Host conference calls with senior level client contacts as required by program guidelines. Complete quality monitoring and quality assurance activities, as assigned. Travel to and attend client meetings, off site training, and/or conferences. Travel time estimate: 10%.
TRAINING:Must be 18 years of age or older
EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE:Minimum four years recent healthcare experience (2 years direct industry preferred).

Background check – signed agreement form prior to performance of check required.

Copy of valid Nursing license – must be kept current and provided to Occam Health when renewed.

Nurse must complete required training/testing (must be completed at least annually) with a score of 90%.

Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Excellent customer service skills (call center experience preferred).

Advanced problem solving, research and analytical skills.

Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.

Data entry accuracy required.

Ability to multi-task and manage time independently.

Client interaction experience preferred.




JOB RELATIONSHIP:Works with varying levels of staff and in direct consumer contact.
TIME COMMITMENT:Monday through Friday. Minimum 40 work hours Full Time, Maximum 30 work hours Part Time
JOB TYPE:Full Time
SALARY:$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
LOCATION:Sterling, VA 20166: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:Current Nursing License (Required)
